This new year (and new decade) has everyone buzzing about New Year’s Resolutions and goals. If finding clear, healthy skin is a priority this year, here are our tips for getting there.
Start a Simple Daily Routine
Cleanse and moisturize. Every. Dang. Day. You don’t necessarily need a 5 step skincare routine, but consistency is key!
Start off by cleansing your skin with a rich, yet gentle oil-based cleanser to lift debris and deep clean pores. We love our fragrance-free soap because it uses all-natural ingredients to break down build-up accumulated on the surface of your skin but is gentle enough for sensitive, dry, or distressed skin. BTW, oil-based cleansers also work great for removing eye makeup. The goal of cleansing is to remove dirt, makeup, and other irritants without stripping away moisture and throwing off your skin’s natural balance. You’ll know your cleanser is too much if after you wash your face, your skin starts to feel “tight” within 30 seconds or so. Also, make sure the water temperature isn’t too hot, which can strip your skin of those essential natural oils.
Next, follow up with a simple moisturizer or face oil to soften and hydrate your skin without excess oiliness and stickiness. We’re obsessed with our Neem Cure Oil. Deep Clean the Pores

Holistically Healthy Skin
While having a skincare routine is essential to hitting your skincare goals this year, staying hydrated and eating well are crucial too. Try to get at least 8 glasses of water, or 64 ounces, a day. Eat a balanced diet with quality proteins, healthy fats, and all kinds of fruits and veggies.
Red Fruits & Veggies: contain lycopene to help protect against certain cancers, lower risk of diabetes, support eye, and skin health. Think raspberries, red cabbage, and tomatoes.
Orange /Yellow Fruits & Veggies: contain alpha and beta carotene, which the body converts into vitamin A, to help support immune function, eye health, and healthy bones. Like carrots, bell peppers, and citrus fruits.
Green Fruits & Veggies: full of chlorophyll, which contains vitamins A, C, E, and K to help detoxify the body, boost the immune system, and encourage cell growth. Think kale, spinach, green apples, and cucumbers.
Blue /Purple Fruits & Veggies: contain anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins to promote heart, brain health, and cellular strength. We love blueberries and beets.
